This pisses me off so much. Those teams that add nothing to the spectacle but only try to stop it (ettix, katusha...).

What the **** is katusha doing in this race?

Ehh what? So they should just give up trying to win the stage because Froome is ahead, or what are you saying? Etixx have the best sprinter in the peloton now that Cav is gone.
Ettix makes sense a bit of sense, but since they signed kittel they stopped being the great team that they were, before.

Katusha didn't try to win any stage at all, only stop the fun.

Is there anything Froome can't do

His power is immense

I doubt that his climbing is at the same level as in 2013.
This. He hasn't looked anywhere near 2013 levels in the mtns so far, so he has taken it to the race in other ways. It's impressive stuff.

So he's been stronger than he's ever been in the Tour in every way, and in the mountains he's not even been close to cracking, and the only real mountain stage there's been was such horrendous weather that he wasn't able to show what he could do.

What is it about that which makes people think he's not as good as he was in the past?

I'm not saying I'm sure he's better, or as good, because we haven't seen him tested yet, that will happen tomorrow. But there's zero indication he's not on the best form of his life.

In every Tour so far in the first MTF of Tour he blew competition, last year by more than 1min.

Compared to this year, how is being stronger? Just because he's more active, doesn't mean he's stronger.

I actually addressed that. I meant he's been better everywhere but the high mountains, that wasn't clear. But the simple fact is there's only been one real MTF, and that was in horrendous conditions. To say he's worse than he was before based on that is pure speculation. Unless you're saying Quintana is also not good at all, since he was also unable to drop lesser riders (including an apparently weak Froome).

All I'm saying is he's looking very strong, and until Quintana actually manages to drop him in the mountains there's no reason to believe Froome isn't at least as good as Quintana there as well.

What an amazing win by Sagan. What a tremendous job and tour Froome is doing. Unlike Porte, Quintana and others Froome is a true racer and deserves the GC.

That's about the 657th race this year when Kristoff loses a WT win due to an absolutely absurd late breakaway staying away.

Besides the fact that this was extremely entertaining I doubt those 11 or 12 seconds were worth it for froome.

So 11-12 seconds gain including bonus seconds. Not really sure it was worth the energy when Ventoux is tomorrow, but a great race nonetheless.

Thank you Mr Froome. I could be cheering any other rider, cause you've got a strong team, I'm not British, bla bla bla. But you know what, you have made le Tour more interesting for me till now
