I like Tom Dumoulin 4th on such a climb. So the Vuelta wasn't just a one hit wonder in his climbing skills.

I think the Vuelta just proved his climbing skills. Tour de Suisse was the biggest revelation

Great rides by Kudus all the way to EBH, to beat better/or more established climbers is very impressive.
Nice to see Nibali win too, though Bardet won't go out without a fight.

Wow.... There seems to be atleast 9 or 10 seconds between them, which would make Fuglsang way closer to Bardet in GC. I hope they fix the mistake.

Birdsong is such a solid co-leader/dom. Guy is always riding super well. Im proud as a dane!

And nice to see Bardet so high up there, I hope he'll take a step forward this season.

Nibali might have a monster season! As things stay right now he is the main favorite for both Giro and Rio! That's how I see it anyway.

Giro yes, Rio no.

Bala, Purito, Gilbert, Martin and others are not here you know.

I agree, fans are getting too hyped about Rio, he is not the outright favourite at all.

Impressive performance from a handful of youngsters, including Kudus, Canty and De Tier.
Nibali is back to his old self, it seems.

I think Bardet could try something tomorrow, but Astana will be hard to beat.

De Tier i allready knew, he had some nice results ast year, but Canty i never heard of before Oman.

Canty is an absolute gun. Ive briefly met him on a recreational ride a while ago before he was a pro. If I remember correctly he was a talented cross country runner before he took up riding.

He flew past every one I was riding with like we were standing still. I think at the time he didn't even consider racing.

In any case, he seemed a really nice guy and really good to see him do well.

Grande Vincenzo! This season is going to be fun. I can't wait to see him in Strade bianche first.

Although Dumoulin is something sceptical about his shape, he looks very strong. He'll be a force in Paris-Nice.

Great ride by EBH again. What is his schedule beside Sanremo, RVV and P-R, does anybody know?

You are correct that he was a good cross country runner who took up cycling late and has come a very long way in a short time, very talented rider (also a really nice guy) and this result is no surprise to anyone who knows him.
