still 6 Sky + froome at front of the peleton (and 8th Lopez in the break) , probably Knees, Golas and Puccio got the memo that today is die on bike day...

even if they get dropped climb finish is not very far away so they will make it back on the descent.

They didn't have much choice.......

The current break wasn't exactly planned by Movistar either, from what I saw. Lots of riders were pushing up front, there was a split in the field, Moreno found himself in the front 40.
 
Now the gaps steadied and slightly coming down don't think Froomes anything to worry about.. I was hoping that gap would grow further.
Even tempted to get out in the sun and save it for the highlights..

Winning a race with a second rider is worse then losing all together for some teams

See Tour de France, 2012. Sky's main goal was to make sure that Chris Froome did not win the race. All that did was keep Nibali in contention for a couple more days, LOL.
