If he performs like in the Tour-TTs, Arndt could do very well here. Maybe Top 10 or thereabouts. The rolling terrain and also the hill in the end could suit him so that I wouldn't be too surprised if he was the best German today...

The chance of rain is decreasing. However, the greatest chance of rain is for the final group of riders.

lol @sudden TJ hype.

Oh well, speeds are low as expected. The terrain before the last climb is far from flat. Average 38km/h at point 1 and around 45 kmh at all other inters

That might be good for Kelderman. He is the first starter capable of winning a medal

what surprised me is how much of a surprise the course seemed to so many of the pros when they saw it.... do these guys not recce before they turn up or accept to ride
Bergen isn't the easiest place to get to. I doubt any non-Norwegian rider visited in person prior to this week.
A stage of 'Tour des Fjords' finished in Bergen a year ago. And some Belgians visited in April.

Not just the Belgians but I've read Micheal Matthews, Ellen van Dijk and a few others have recce'd the courses in Bergen a few months ago.

Bike changes, a climb, mechanics not allowed to push and a UCI official with a whistle.

This time trial is a joke already, an insult to professional sports.
