Wow he was just so strong hivert

More that he played it smart than being strong. Sanchez was tired from riding in front up the hill before the finish and having to close the gap to the attacks from Di Gregorio.

Looked like Sanchez was thinking about GC more than the stage.

Wheelsucker wins...Sanchez deserved the win but I guess he will be happy about the GC.

Hivert pulled many times before the last few K and made an impressive jump to the front. He played it amazingly well.

Astana looked really strong today
Strong team definitely, although I guess SKY would have had a few more riders and matched ther numbers in the decimated front group if Poels had not punctured. Things are looking very good for Luis Leon, considering he has one of the best climbers in the race as his domestique for the MTF

Paris-Nice never disappoints. There was even action on a somewhat easy stage like this. Of the pure sprinters, only Greipel ( :D !) survived.

Was Alaphilippe fearing Sanchéz as a GC treat? He was aggressive as fawk on the hill.
