Will Carapaz try to deliver the final blow today and seal the deal, especially against Roglic?
Seems the perfect opportunity for Moviestar, if the legs are still the same.

Today is the first day when Carapaz will be taken seriously, I'm not so sure he will fly away.
Nonsense.
Won't be taken seriously?
Of course not. Why take a guy seriously who's currently kicking your a**, came into the race on obvious good form, and who just missed the podium last year? :p

One almost podium in whole career? That doesn't look very scary ;)

How much time will strong climbers like Ciccone, Dombrowski or the Androni guys need to have at the start of the Mortirolo so that they have a real chance at winning the stage?
I'd say over 4min, with 5min they should have a good chance.

If Carapaz is strong today... I think Nibali waits until stage 20 to put everything into it. Unless Carapaz cracks before that.

Went too narrow and too fast into that corner.

Looks like he didnt injure himself too bad though.

He wasn't kicking anybody's ass until San Carlo, was let go and claw back time the stage before, Landa was still Movistar's leader only 40 sec. behind Carapaz and he finished fourth last year because three riders in front just disappeared at the end. Besides, nobody reads Ecuadorian cycling press where he probably said he's in such good form that he'll win the Giro.
