This will not be an easy stage either, I expect a reduced peloton at the end with a couple more GC hopefuls falling out of contention.

A couple of French pro conti riders in the break. Ineos block the road. The other teams accept that. On the second categorised climb Ineos order the other teams to up the pace except Deceuninck. The other teams comply furiously. Alaphilippe pops out and takes the bonus seconds on the last climb. Pinot follows. They follow the bike winning by ten seconds. Matthews wins the sprint for third. Ineos tick off another day. Vive Le Tour.

The pictures of land marks and their km position are a nice touch to the stage info. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Everything from the official Tour page, so not a big deal.

Smoke signals!

No peace pipe, though.

Why are they showing these pictures?! Is it to try to show that he is ok? Strange

De Marchi out? Terrible news.
I'm more worried about his health than whether he continues. Never like seeing an unconscious rider.

Seems to be some weird convention in cycling broadcasting to show the brutality

Lads, its half past 1 on a Sunday afternoon.

You can watch casartellis death as the camera lingers on him, pool of blood on the side of the road, its absolutely ridiculous
