Ganna time. Wonder how hard Dennis will try on this as he is there to support Thomas. Still an important stage for riders like Yates who will lose some time on every TT. Ineos will be happy to lose the pink jersey in the next few days.

I don't see why Dennis wouldn't put in only 15 kms of individual effort (especially when he has a strong chance to do well on the stage), just because he is a domestique (and particularly when stage 2 isn't expected to be at all decisive).

But then again, this is Ineos.

100 km/h per hour and gutsy sidewinds sound really dangerous. I hope nobody will be picking their nose.

The climb is basically 250-300 m long, the 800 m before that are around 3%.
It depends on wind IMO. A bit of climbing will have a negative impact. Without wind I'd expect it to be a little too much.

But then Ganna did 56 average in the flat Tirreno ITT.

I actually imagine that first hill is basically gonna be an all out sprint as that descent probably won't be too much pedalling?
