Why did Joao Almeida not start in NC Portugal?
Because he'd just done Lombardia the day before, and did Emilia two days after?

Yes, he's on the startlist. http://mondiali.net/76487-campionat...tartlist-della-prova-in-linea-e-a-cronometro/Is Bagioli going to start in NC Italy? The race is not on the website from QUickstep?
If you are one (of the many here) that think that everything different from a "full flag" jersey is totally crap you should complain directly to the portuguese federation because that's the jersey designed by them and given on the podium.So... Rui Costa is the new Portuguese RR Nat Champ (Ivo Oliveira took the ITT title a few days ago.)
Now, we've seen what absolute horrors UAE team can make out of Nat Champ jersey, but isn't the Portuguese federation one of those federations that actually have demands for Nat Champ jerseys?
Will anybody I know (no 17year old on a conti-team) be at the European Championships?
Who do you know?
Every cycling federation has its own national jerseys, yet the teams are not using them and create their own designs instead. How come UAE must use that one?If you are one (of the many here) that think that everything different from a "full flag" jersey is totally crap you should complain directly to the portuguese federation because that's the jersey designed by them and given on the podium.

Nothing wrong with a "white with bands" jersey, especially if that's the traditional design. Germany, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Australia and the UK all have such a design. It's a disappointment if used by a country which traditionally uses a full jersey design, such as EBH's Norway kit at Sky, but Italy and Spain are unusual cases in that there are numerous examples through history of them using both full tricolour jerseys, and white jerseys with flag-coloured bands. If you are one (of the many here) that think that everything different from a "full flag" jersey is totally crap you should complain directly to the portuguese federation because that's the jersey designed by them and given on the podium.
Formolo's kit ticks all the bad boxes. It's been awkwardly shoehorned onto the existing UAE kit, it doesn't pay any respect to either format of traditional Italian champions' jerseys, and by running the flag in its standard form rather than reorienting it top to bottom it also doesn't look like it fits the flag bands format, not to mention that the flag itself is too low on the jersey design, looking like it's meant to accentuate his solar plexus rather than being bands around the chest.

Interesting parcours indeed.
Scary to think that Bagioli could already be the favorite if it wasn't for the distance.
I don't think Colbrelli and Trentin are in a good enough shape to challenge, but you never know.
Since the crashes of Campenaerts and especially Remco, yes.was always about 2nd and 3rd place.
Van Aert gets it! His first TT appearance since that horrific one in the Tour last year.
- Wout van Aert
- Victor Campenaerts + 30"
- Frederik Frison + 1'17"
- Thomas De Gendt +1'42"
- Florian Vermeersch +1"57"
Admittedly he wasn't going to win it either way.His 4th TT (5th if we include the TTT in the Tour) with Jumbo Visma. He won all of them, except for the one he crashed in.
