The guy is a beast, he can climb well, can finish top 10 in bunch sprints and has won Tro-Bro-Leon despite being only 60kg heavy.

If any GC team was still trying to beat Bernal, this would have been easily hard enough for attacks. Can't remember a Giro where every team seems to have given up on beating the race leader before the Alps yet here we are...

meh imo it's better having a day like this after yesterday, it gives an option to make a difference based on fatigue and effort if teams want it.

If everyone is fresh it's much harder to envisage attacks working
