Would love to know where Evenepoel is taking time on Bernal apart from the time trial... The last week isn't the Alto Colorado or Foia.I wouldn't read too much into a 600m attack
Come on man. We haven't even seen the first real mountain stage!Don't think there was ever any realistic chance of him matching Bernal there or the high mountains.
Looks like race over already, barring Bernal's back problem or a crash. Nobody will be close to him.
Remco recovered very well there actually, but that's not a good marker for Zoncolan.
Depends on who drops you on a climb like this. If it's Purito, sure doesn't mean that much. But it's Bernal, pretty much a pure climber.I wouldn't read too much into a 600m attack
Sporza should give Remco a doll so that he can show us where he touched him.Oh god what has he done this time

Roglic and Pogacare would get 1/2 hereRoglic and Pogacar must be glad Bernal is not riding the Tour this year in this form.
"In the bag" would you say ?Bernal was a level above in every single stage so far. He's got this
Good to see he's being serious about that Most top-10s Without a Win competition!
Why?
Its a very different kindof effort much less explosive
Neither is Evenepoel.Bernal isn't really a 5 minute climber.

Yep. Once again. To me it looked like Remco was clearly suffering on the steep ramps, but crawled time back on the flat.
First race in 9 monthsWant to hear the excuses
We have yet to see if Bernal can actually make such an attack stick for longer than 1-2 km. If he can't then this race is definitely not over.
I don't think even the most hardcore Remco fanboys are surprised that Bernal is capable of distancing him in short attacks.
That does not equate to him being able to simply put minutes into Evenepoel over a long-range attack.
