Ace by Roglic, incredible impressive from Pedersen. What happened to Alaphilippe? Firstcycling has him at 27 seconds. Probably not back in form yet but he looked reasonable going for that bonus second sprint.

As for the GC guys, very strong showing from Mas, did not expect that. Remco, Hindley, Keldermann, O'Connor and Sivakov all in the top 10 bodes very well for them.
Yates, Almeida, Carapaz and Higuita all lose 7 seconds, especially Higuita didn't look great.

Consistency comes with age. Power comes with age. He was not in good form in CSS so clearly not in his early season form. So for me it's perfectly understandable that he was not having the best moment. Maybe the first three days on flat roads took more out of him, maybe he doesn't cope with rest days very well yet. Lots of possible reasons and potential explanations. Not sure what mood i have to be in to make some sense.
