Stage 14 is a proper meme stage. Small chance it could actually be a sprint if the break is bad enough.

Lopez. Probably. If Vino does not get another GT rider then He could be inclined to keep Lopez for the Tour. This Giro is pretty field dependent. Hindley may be inclined to want to race the Tour now that he has crossed the Giro off his list.
Apart from Evenepoel, Almeida and maybe Roglic I don't see many of the top 10 GT riders inclined to race the Giro

Almeida is going to the tour, just like hindley. This Giro is pretty field dependent. Hindley may be inclined to want to race the Tour now that he has crossed the Giro off his list.

Is this something that is confirmed or just an assumption?Almeida is going to the tour, just like hindley.
There are always deficiencies according to someone. I've just been here too long and seen too many gripe threads.I mean, there are lots of obvious deficiencies with this route and I don't think it's unreasonable to complain about those. In spite of that, it's obvious even to a regular criticaster like me that this route is better than any GT route in 2022, and probably also 2021. Like I said upthread, I legitimately like the route and it should deliver provided we don't get three weeks of Carapaz and Hindley spending every high mountain stage looking at each other again.
Rtp journalist from portugal called marco chagas, said on live tv during the tour, that he talked to almeida, and he said to him that next year he will do the tour with pogacar. Is this something that is confirmed or just an assumption?
He'll also drop him on most of the climbs.Remco was peaking for the Vuelta, Hindley was not in a really good form. If both are peaking for the same event, Remco still would be far ahead of Hindley but not 6-7 just in time trials.
I guess Vlasov could be here if Hindley goes to the Tour and Thomas has shown some interest (ok, maybe wishful thinking).Lopez sounds exciting apart from the fact that it's gonna be 2023 and not 2018
Why didn't you put the second tier gregarios for the other riders in the list?-Roglic
-Evenpol + Masnada
-Almida
-G Thomas
-S Yates
-Arensman?
-Landa?
-Bora might send Vlasov if no Hindley
-heard rumours that Belgian Pozzato is going.
-Maybe Jungels can give GC another go
-Gino Mader?
Remco is not a second tier gregario, he is quite talented actuallyWhy didn't you put the second tier gregarios for the other riders in the list?

So there's no climb profiles on the Giro site yet? When do those usually appear? There's a few I can't really find I think.
Ah I missed the tab for climb details thanks
It's so sad when you have to put masnada in a list, just because italy doesn't have a better rider to grand tours than him, and the only thing that he's gonna do his give bottles to remco. Why didn't you put the second tier gregarios for the other riders in the list?
Well played, sir.Remco is not a second tier gregario, he is quite talented actually
Well to be fair, no one HAD to put Masnada in the list...It's so sad when you have to put masnada in a list, just because italy doesn't have a better rider to grand tours than him, and the only thing that he's gonna do his give bottles to remco.
Or put "fausto" instead of masnada. It wouldn't be so embarassing. People could think that could be fausto.....coppi.Well to be fair, no one HAD to put Masnada in the list...
