Makes sense as that would still advantage the TT riders more than the climbers. But that is such a dramatic change to the initial TT that is would be unfair to the climbers who are probably hoping to get some time back. (especially guys like Almeida)I always said that a Sella Nevea uphill TT would be much better for the race. Same start
Otherwise nothing new, Clown Vegni strikes again. At least this time before the start of the race.
Then Sella Nevea from the harder side?Makes sense as that would still advantage the TT riders more than the climbers. But that is such a dramatic change to the initial TT that is would be unfair to the climbers who are probably hoping to get some time back. (especially guys like Almeida)
A series of people who thought "not my responsibility" when it actually was? Then Sella Nevea from the harder side?
Honestly, just look at picutures of Monte Lussari, there is no space there. How that logistical nightmare got ever approved is beyond me.
Surprised Houtdfan hasn't yet proposed an 800 km TT to Rome as solution.
Google: bike race, pothole....A series of people who thought "not my responsibility" when it actually was?
There's multiple cable railways to transport thing down and a lot more space there. How did they manage to do MTT's up Plan de Corones back in the day, surley that was just as narrow?
Only top 20 GC riders and each team's designated TT'er (outside top 20). But that would still mean 20 consecutive riders, which might be the biggest issue.it's not like there's a car behind every rider in a normal ITT. I struggle to see the problem, to be honest. Just offer some spare wheels at the roadside and extend the time cut a bit. Not everyone needs a moto
theoretically, they could start earlier than planed, split that group in two, and get the motos down the climb again before the final 10. But it comes with an increased chance of a weather change, of course.Only top 20 GC riders and each team's designated TT'er (outside top 20). the road looks kinda narrow and wacky, if you consider that there is little space for the fans to stand outside of the road.
Shades of the tilted-angle Crostis photos many moons ago. Hard to believe it’s been twelve years…There's multiple cable railways to transport thing down and a lot more space there.

Considering it‘s a pivotal point of the race, we should expect tomorrow, which means we‘ll be on the edge of our seats until Vegni enlightens us sometime next week.So when do we expect confirmation/cancellation of Lussari?
The most likely option would seem following tomorrow’s meeting, but any point during the Giro that isn’t within 24 hours of the stage wouldn’t shock me tbh.So when do we expect confirmation/cancellation of Lussari?
But are space and transportation the issue here? And isn't there a cable car on the Monte Lussari too? There's multiple cable railways to transport thing down and a lot more space there.
