Serious question: why does this race exist? What is gained by excluding Australia and Colombia from a nations race? Also why do you need an extra nations race right before worlds? (The fact that some nations aren't even there suggests this extra event is not necessary.)

You do realize every country that is excluded here has their own (easy) continental championship?

What is gained from excluding the entire world sans Oceania from the Oceanic Championships? I do wonder so myself.

You don't think continental championships should be a thing?
Would be a bit weird to have Australia and Colombia at the European Championships.
Yeah, the schedule is a bit weird this year.
