Do CSR really think they can win the stage?
I think it would have made better sense to use their numbers to attack rather than pull.

What an absolute queen! Love it, she's proving herself a true Basque escaladora! Climbs like a goddess when it's super steep, but then inevitably lets you down when it matters in the biggest races!Ostolaza already dropped.

And on gradients about double those that we're seeing here.It seems she only has the legs when racing with Yurani Blanco (and against weaker riders it has to be said).
Almost, though. Never underestimate the power of SD Worx' team car to baffle.I was fearing a boring Kopecky sprint win, but that looks a lot less likely with NFB up the road.
Though perhaps her best legs since her injury.Sneaky Cille attack, but she doesn't have good legs when García is able to drop her.

A massive ride by Mavi Garcia who was on the front for the last 7kms and her result does not justify the quality of her performance. I have a watch on NFB. She's won two races in a two person group and done no work.
García did best, but it'll always be hard to win when you have the acceleration of a Tata Nano.

Wait, WTF, there are people there that Pauliena Rooijakkers outsprinted?! Hell yea!
I am interested in how she performs in the Giro because she has been inconsistent in 2024. I think the key is warm weather as these seem to be her preferred conditions. Actually, the Jayco team was very disappointing and if Garcia had the appropriate support, she could have done better in the stage.
Yeah, but I'm more ashamed of forgetting a badass like Flavio Santos...What did Magno Nazaret do to deserve the disrespect?
Seems like she always goes to mid tier teams where she's the only good GC rider. I don't know for sure but you'd think she's had offers from bigger teams at times. I don't know if that's what she prefers or if those offers haven't come, maybe due to her starting late and being mid 30s when she started focusing on cycling. It also seems like a couple of her teams stepped up immediately after her leaving so maybe it's just been timing. On the other hand, García also likes to ride her own tempo, so I'm not sure more team support would have helped her that much. I did expect more from Wyllie and Zigart though.
Zigart said she got caught behind in a crash so maybe the rest of the team also did?Seems like she always goes to mid tier teams where she's the only good GC rider.
