It looked like she hit a pothole. Poor girls. At least Niedermaier did get a great win yesterday. Hopefully she can get patched up and back to racing soon.

Yes, but it was still a serious mistake on Žigart's part. A crash like that is unacceptable, because she clearly seemed distracted. Sad for Niedermaier who raced very well and I hope that she will recover soon.

The gap is still no too big, but they probably won't catch her. I hope they do though, so Lippert will get the chance to counter attack.

Vintage Vleuty. But Wiebes takes second. If she turns into a climber, look out.

What a silly comment - A pothole is a pothole - And in a peleton its often luck of the draw.

It's amazing that the the sheer number of bad injuries AVV's had haven't slowed her down (although obviously she would've won even more without them).
Almost certainly would have won the Olympic RR in 2016 if she hadn't crashed. -- I feared for her life on that one.

Cursed by her own team. There's a reason I tell folks to go outside, turn around ten times & spit...

Annemiek regenerates faster than the T-1000, that's why her injury history doesn't hold her back. She's just a freak in terms of how quickly she can recover, it's incredible each and every time.

Like Samu though I did want her to be caught so Lippert could counter, she's overdue a (non-nationals) win and the way she's been racing this season has greatly entertained me. And also the last thing we need is Wiebes becoming durable for reasonable amounts of climbing because adding extra weapons to SD Worx' arsenal is only going to worsen their domination and it's not like Lorena wasn't a threat before...

The fight for the two lower steps on the podium is quite fierce and unpredictable. Three riders in Cavalli, ELB and Niedermaier have all lost their chances to reach them, and García would have been closer if she hadn't taken a wrong turn at the finish yesterday.

With the uphill finish tomorrow, you'd fancy Realini to overtake at least Labous, but you can't be sure of much in this race.
