Personally, I don't think the motos are a big problem. Sure, they influence the race, but that is difficult to avoid. I think what matters is that they are unbiased, and then secondly that they somewhat offer the same pacing to all groups.

Honestly if I was Jumbo Visma I would consider no bringing Belgian Pozzato to the cobbles classics.

They have a really strong squad of tactically intelligent riders who work well together. Why bring in Van Aert and get another Leuven situation, he is know to want leadership and is not so strong tactically.

They are riding like a prime quickstep.

With Laporte, Van Baarle, Tratnik, Benoot, Valter all flying they could seriously win every Northern classic.
They could send Van aert to do GC at Tirreno, do Sanremo, then another altitude camp, Romandie GC and be backup for Roglic in the Giro.
Pogi and MvdP will drop al these yellow bees when it matters.

3 forum members liked a post which started off by saying you'd consider to not bring Wout van Aert for the classic races. While were at it, might as well make him slave 21 days for Vingegaard the upcoming summer? Great way to please your (probably) biggest star.

Look at this podium ceremony, there are two types of people in this world; people who admit to enjoying crap Eurodance and liars.

It's so strange to see Baarle in Jumbo colors still

Big Lotto fail this tho. Shouldve had like 3 extra guys in that peloton, but De Lie has noone. If he had guys then he could just let them reel him in and put a team in front. Campenaerts should probably stop talking like he's some star before races.

Van Baarle is insane tho. Don't think it would've mattered for the win.
I saw Campenaerts walking on the Muur. So i guess he was behind a group that needed to step of the bike for some reason.

Yeah but only because he was just way too far back, and he was already losing ground on previous climbs too. His legs just weren't there, or it was the dumb shift system he was using that didn't work out but then it's definitely his own fault.

He may even be Van Aert's equal as a classics rider, but as far as being a rouleur goes, Evenepoel is some lightyears ahead of anybody else. Unless you are solely talking about aesthetics.
I'm not necessarily Evenepoel's biggest fan, but I would say he looks quite good on a bike. Van Baarle looked quite skeletal today, a bit too much for my taste. Jumbo does seem to have quite a radical nutrition regime.

Van Baarle was also very skinny at Ineos, i don't think much has changed in that regard. He said nutricion at JV is even better, but i don't think that necessarily means "being skinnier".

Maybe it's the different jersey, but my subjective impression was that he was skinnier than in previous spring races. In the Tour he was indeed already quite slim.

Posted in 2022 that there was a chance that Ewan could leave Lotto at the end of 2023, and was criticised by a couple who are now begging for Ewan to leave - Anyway, Ewan needs to get back to winning races.
