Maybe, but will he ever be able to do what peak Boonen did in the classics early on? I remember how he just dominated Tour of Flanders 05-06.Better.
He could keep a steady pace on Kapelmuur, didn't need to dig deep there.Looks excellent for Van Baarle now, surprising that the gap didn't fall at all on Bosberg.
He didn't lose that much on the Kapelmuur if the GPS was correct. He could keep a steady pace on Kapelmuur, didn't need to dig deep there.
Soudal and Alpecin with a pathetic day
Pogi and MvdP will change the rules of the game.JV seems unbeatable for the classics if today is an indication

Campenaerts has always been a walking meme hasn't he?Big Lotto fail this tho. Shouldve had like 3 extra guys in that peloton, but De Lie has noone. If he had guys then he could just let them reel him in and put a team in front. Campenaerts should probably stop talking like he's some star before races.
Van Baarle is insane tho. Don't think it would've mattered for the win.
Props to Van Baarle, but those (motor)bikes are a travesty.Van Baarle increasing the gap after all the effort he's put in is madness. Then again the motors aren't hurting him...
I think a lot depends on how badly Jumbo want to win with Van Aert specifically in De Ronde and Roubaix or how much they'd be happy with any of them winning.Pogi and MvdP will change the rules of the game.

No matter the outcome though this is encouraging
Lotto need to jettison Ewan and put everything into building a team around De Lie. Vermeersch is overrated based on one wet Roubaix and Campenaerts is overrated by himself above all else. No top-20 cobbles riders in the team for sure, outside of De Lie.Big Lotto fail this tho. Shouldve had like 3 extra guys in that peloton, but De Lie has noone. He's the defending Roubaix winner. He's a level above the three chasers on the flat.Van Baarle increasing the gap after all the effort he's put in is madness. Then again the motors aren't hurting him...
Quickstep won in AUE and that French .HC race. Only fair that other teams do well hereSoudal and Alpecin with a pathetic day
Compared to E-3, its pretty bad, yes. But compared to everything else at this stage of the year its pretty good.Omloop is always kind of overhyped only to then be a boring race, but this time even more so.
Can't wait for drones to take over.Props to Van Baarle, but those (motor)bikes are a travesty.
