The memory of Colbrelli's collapse will be too fresh for most teams to consider that...
it's also not only the riders. At this rate, staff of the teams and races will obviously be heavily affected as well, and if there's no one left to build up the fences or drive the bus, the race can't continue anyway

Just seen all the dns. Bit silly really. Unless someone actually has symptoms, I don't think they should be withdrawn on having a positive test.
didn't check everyone, but Yates, Pidcock, Hirschi and Berwick for example were all reported to have symptoms. Others may develop them tomorrow - or maybe not at all, sure. But where to cut the line then?

I had proper fever for 4 days and could barely leave my bed with covid two weeks ago. the first symptoms started with exhaustion two days before i took a test. Even more impressive to have a good performance then (vlasov e.g.).

To me, if they have symptoms that are more than a headcold, grand. If they don't, they can continue to ride. Being positive on a test means nothing anymore
not sure that would make mich of a difference, as they are still infectious. No way UAE would line up an asymptomatic positive domestique next to Pogacar, even if they'd be allowed to.

Anyways today is about seeing how strong is Masnada. Not sure that the break can make it to the finish given the 50k of flat between the two climbs.

here in the US, the overwhelming majority of the spread is indoor. More of a risk of getting it in the hotel than having a dom riding near you.

UCI should allow the teams to have the trailers that Sky used to use for their leaders. Keep the leaders isolated
