Decent performances by Martens, Van Avermaet and Deignan, plus a disappointing Gesink. Par of the course for me.

At least 6 Points for predicting Rodriguez correct on 2nd. But my big secret is why i didn´t have Gilbert anywere in the Top-5. Go see the doctor...

Did anyone not have Gilbert as their captain?

He's the Haussler of this game.

I did, as did about the top 50 in the league. I also had rodriguez as vice. It was taking out sanchez and putting in a damn bmc rider that cost me. Would have been second 20 pts or so behind if not for that.

Vanendert is a nice pickup for one person, only cost 19 points and is in 3 figures already

Im very tempted to not put gilbert in my team for sunday and get two other very good quality riders in his place, and take a risk.

Depends if i want to aim for 3rd, or If i want to aim for the win. Sometimes you have to take a risk.

The other top teams will have gilbert anyway. Gamble?

Once again, those who have Gilbert (Ingsve, Waterloo, Kazistuta, Spare Tyre, Ewbles and Cobra) were the big winners, especially with the declined Rodriguez in second. Jaylew, On3m@n@rmy and Roundabout had the main consolation point scorer in Sam Sánchez, and although Anton is on 6 lists, he didn't impact on the scoring of the frontrunners.

Top 5
Ingsve 730 (Gilbert 256, Goss 203, Boonen 140, Wiggins 74, Urán 57)
Waterloo 625 (Cancellara 236, Gilbert 256, Wiggins 74, Urán 57, Di Luca 2)
Jaylew 623 (Goss 203, T Martin 114, Sánchez 159, Tondó 90, Urán 57)
Hitch 553 (Cancellara 236, Boonen 140, Matthews 70, Urán 57, Pozzato 50)
Kazistuta 520 (Gilbert 256, Boonen 140, D Martin 72, Cunego 26, Freire 26)

I can't remember my selection now, but I had Rodriguez in first, and Sanchez and Gilbert in there. Think the other two were Bert and Gesink. so I suppose that's 9. If I'm lucky I might have had Sanchez in the right place.

****. Missed putting up the teams. Was trying to give people extra time to put in their predictions (none did) but fell asleep. Missed the damn race! Oh well thanks for steephill and last 15mins. :D

Will put up the teams list first then calculate the points. Watch this space.

Wow, a nice score see me up to 29th overall, 19th if you discount the premium teams. 3rd/5th as well in the CN leagues, quite happy.

I completely forgot about one rider I sent in. I know I sent Rodriguez, Contador, Kreder, and Gregorio. I don't know who the fifth was.

If I didn't pick Gilbert, I should have.

Did the scores get updated?

Sorry its all belated. Teams are up in the second post, with a link to the new spreadsheet and the table is now done in the first post. Bit of a reshuffle going on at the top. No one predicted Gilbert to win but a few had him. Ferminal top scored with 15 with Merckx and lancaster getting 12 as well which boosted lancaster into outright 1st. Still looking quite close up there and as Merckx is proof, a few good runs and you've caught up to the pack.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege now!

Liege - Barredo(?), Devolder, Gasparotto, Ivanov, Kiryenka, Kolobnev, Moinard, Siutsou
Romandie - Gasparotto, Lorenzetto, Moinard, Renshaw, Seeldrayers, Siutsou, Wiggins

Even so, I've come to the opinion that anything more than 5 for finishing is a bonus, these guys on my team just don't seem to want to get results
