Not great, not terrible. Considering it's not his kind of tt, it's ok I guess. Would have worried if he'd dropped a lot more

15s behind Dumoulin, 10s behind Izagirre, 9s behind Thomas, 7s behind Porte. What do you guys think?
Not what i expected dont expect to much from him now this week if he was in shape he should be equal with Thomas

Maybe he could go a little bit faster , but the prologues always don't suit him so i'm not worry.
I think he can recover good part of losses on Mont Brouilly

Actually the ITT suited him pretty well with a short steep ramp halfway through, just look at the average speed :) and he's won prologues before ;) I agree it wasn't too bad, but I am wondering if he has lost some power while losing weight.
Hopefully he doesn't lose any time tomorrow, else it's over. I doubt he can take more than 10s on Brouilly, remember that on Malhao he was ahead of the favorites' group when he attacked.

For Contador, climbs are a way better indicator of form. Malhao only happened two weeks ago. This was the only tt in PN. He should be fine

I'm slightly disappointed, was hoping for better. Heck didn't Majka have a better time?

He's still in the running.

Not too bad, He's only 1sec behind guys like Brändle, Wellens, Van Emden and Boom and has the same time as Gallopin and Lutsenko, the big surprise is Majka being so fast.

I think his weight is low, but he's not at peak power yet (or close to it), that it would manifest itself in a short prologue. I'll be interested to see how he's going in the mountains. If he get's 10s on Brouilly with a win, then gains 20' (with time bonuses). I don't think the race is over for him just yet.

Looking the official website of PN , this profile seems erroneous. Am i wrong?!

in all fairness needless to say there's a certain category of posters who base their hearty adoration to bertie on many factors very toxic dislike to sky included, so their 'objectivity' is under huge doubt, to put it mildly. probably, hollydolly tends to refer to them.. ;)

yeah...exactly what I am doing
Buy hey I am depleting the enjoyment of those who find it ok to call SKY names but anyone challenge them then you are mean spirited

I was told to not question someone's bias but then this is posted

HelloDolly is one of the last people who could school me about objectivity considering their irrational love for everything Sky and irrational hatred for (all fans of) Contador. They say they also "admire and respect" Contador but their posts in this thread don't show anything like that. Honestly I would not at all be surprised if this poster also had an account on the Team Sky fanforum (BikeRadar),

I am not even a SKY fan ..but I guess if you can't argue well you sling 'mud'
They cannot see that my observations are about their attitude not about Contador

What would have helped him was starting his ride fast and not as slooowww as he did
What do you mean? Was he really that slow?

Yes, he was that slow. He should've started out quicker and faster. Quite frankly, the only one whose performance stands out, out of the GC riders is Majka's; the rest are meh &#128528

But do you have times or what? How do you know he was slow or did it just look that way to you?

It was actually a ****. He should work on his tt bike position a power.
His position isn't any worse than in previous years.

Agree with this! He looks pretty much the same as he always has on the TT bike, doing his Butt shuffle and everything
