Image too big to post, and you'll want to see it full-size anyway.
He is not following the Betancur patented training and racing program.

As a photographer this pic is quite normal, it's been taken very close up with a ultra wide angle lens, this as the effect of enlarging what's closest and pushing away what's further away giving the impression of much larger arms than would be the case
He needs a teammate with him. Froome had Rowe with him until the finish. Where were Berto's teammates?Miburo said:Eh he's always been like that, not gonna change it at this point.
Froome still needs to drop him to win the dauphine. Tomorrow, it'll finally begin.

It will be hard for Alberto to keep the lead tomorrow, with Froome, Alaphilippe and Martin all really close, but we'll see.
Yes, and as a result he will probably take time. He's clearly more explosive in a sprint. Even bonus seconds would be enough for him. Looks hard for Alberto to win now, unless he is super mega strong.Miburo said:Froome ain't quintana though, he'll take initiative.
Quintana's haters becoming to be a bit boring... just an opinion.Miburo said:LaFlorecita said:He needs a teammate with him. Froome had Rowe with him until the finish. Where were Berto's teammates?Miburo said:Eh he's always been like that, not gonna change it at this point.

Uhm, have you seen the last KM?Miburo said:Tomorrow is steep and hard enough. It's 4 km at an average of 9%. Nothing to do with an explosive sprint
Of course, but it may cost him the overall victory here, plus at the Tour, if he loses 6-7 seconds 3 or 4 times, that really complicates things. It could be the difference between defending 10-15s and trying to make up 10-15s.Pantani Attacks said:Climbing wins GCs, not sprinting. Relax, today is irrelevant.

Ahead there are 3 MTF , 3 !!!LaFlorecita said:In a one-week race, 9s can definitely be decisive! Whatever happens, I hope he doesn't finish within 9s of the winner.

Yeah, completely agree, I also think one of them will completely crush the other at some point. Or perhaps it'll be PorteBlurryVII said:Pantani Attacks said:Climbing wins GCs, not sprinting. Relax, today is irrelevant.
Not if he finishes the Dauphiné within 9s of Froome.
Which is unlikely cause I'm pretty sure one of the 2 will drop the other quite badly at some point, but still. 9s is too much on this kind of stage, what the hell.
