I hope Contador isn't pulling everyone again like in vuelta. Be better for him to play the schleck Rodriguez schleck role- reap rewards of rest of team doing all the work.

He has a much better team than in Vuelta.. but he should do some work to lose less time.

I'm calling it right here right now Saxo finish with Rogers/Alberto/Bennati/Paulinho/Kreuziger/Roche 6th place @0'17"

They'll top-5. Roche will be too slow. I'm counting on Tosatto to be with the team all the way

Who will drop first, Noval or Jesus? My bet is Jesus. Noval actually look decent for once

Especially on the descent. With 100 kg he will be like a torpedo. I mean of course Noval, not Jesus :D

I think the team has looked strong enough so far. They are showing at the front anyway. When Froome attacked today Roche reacted and didn't let him get away. so far he has been the most prominent rider ranking 11th so far, ok hes going to drop back when it all kicks off but hes there with contador setting pace and doing a good marking job. The team is in a good position so far.

I though Saxo and Bertie looked good...but my eyesight is 20/50 (with glasses).
Where did you think Bertie wasn't looking strong? I have it on dvr will go rewatch.

i think in the last climb. He was a little further back. Evans instead looked really good. He was behind Porte when Froome accelerate. I wonder if alberto suffered from his crash.

Roche looked strong though today. He closed the acceleration from Froome. He kept looking at the back all the time, probably looking for alberto?

The person I fear most after this stage is Kiri:D[/B]

exactly! on the climb while everyone's mouth was gasping out for breath like fish out of water, he looked so relax ticking his pedal, like he was just cruising around the park with his russian roulette buddy. :p

It is possible that a little, but anyway he show today that he is Ok, as Mollema, nothing important for the future. Anyway tomorrow the end will be more selective...

Today I expected more difficult road, as the stage Paolini won and got pink in Giro, but today there was a big bunch at the end...

Tomorrow is going to be similar, more difficult, but no really narrow and good road.

The stage is demanding... they put a clearly 2nd categoy climb as 3rd, and the last climb is not just only the last 3 kms, there is more before...really medium mountain stage

I think Contador is hurting quite a bit more than expected, hopefully he will be able to sit with the main GC next few days and hopefully recover before the mountains.

Injuries like that will bother you for a week, so he willl be fine. He has the best possible staff to look after him and help him recover, as long he can sleep and get his rest, which he obviously can, he be just fine.

let's hope so. Gerrant said he was fine yesterday. Today, he was diagnosed to have a hairline fracture on his pelvis. Hopefully, contador's injury.. like he said, superficial. He didn't seem struggling today. Saxo boys were very well presented in the climb.
