Whilst the initial incident looked like it was worst for Contador, I think Sky (And hence Froome) are looking like they may pay the biggest price. Thomas is obviously a big piece of the TTT jigsaw. Also Stannard - I can't tell 100% but he seems injured judging by his overall times.

Much worse for Sky if it was Froome.....guess Porte could step up.

If Bertie falters will Saxo ride for Roman? At least he would collect WT points.

Sky may lose some time in the ttt, but seriously, what is 30 seconds or even a minute compared to having your gt leader injured

I noticed that also but then again they lost him a lot of times. Like Mauduit said he should claim his place in the peloton and not give his place to others.

well sounded optimistic from contador after today's stage:

Team Saxo-Tinkoff's Alberto Contador is feeling confident after the crash on stage one:

”I'm feeling better every day since the crash and of course, I'm optimistic in terms of doing well in the rest of the race. In spite of the crash, I didn't lose any time to my rivals and I have a strong team behind me. That will be beneficial on tomorrow's team time trial where it's going to be a battle among teams and not exactly the GC contenders. We have been training together for this discipline and we're ready for the challenge,” said Team Saxo-Tinkoff's Alberto Contador.

alberto is no lance you gotta deal with it:(

if lance was in alberto's place, karpets would ride now somewhere in portugal or turkish continental peloton. and even there without preparation and always looking over his shoulder

every team does that, even euskatel.

Not according to the ttt lobby. Apparently its a very simple case of if you bother training you are guaranteed to win.

I think

yeap. but euskatel is mostly soft pedal. Not sure if that counts as training :D. that counts more as recreational ride with aero bike..:D *talking about 'over the top'*
