That would likely be the truth, but he's too respectful to say that. Also, it would be ******y to say so - leave that kind of talk to Oleg. :D

Missed him today - and to be fair: I missed Froome too. Nibali did a great ride, but you can't help wondering...

He won't have any problem to speak through the microphone. He'll struggle to say something interesting.

tomorrow along perico and carlos?
meh i love alberto for his riding,not his comments. i remember he was invited in vuelta 2010(??) too and he bored me to death :p perico is made for that job

Contador is gonna be really boring as commentator.

Btw the worst thing of contador's crash is imo that he never could show how strong he really was. If he would have crashed after la planche des belles filles stage i could live with it more. Then at least we would have know how strong he was. Sucks...

He would have won the TDF, destroyed them all.

Even if he sucks as a commentator (?) he isn't hiding away. Strong mind.

Well yea that's for me better than not knowing. I just hate the thought of not knowing what would have happened.

It would be cool if one of his team-mates won tomorrow's stage, either Majka, Roche or Rogers and did the pistol salute for him since he's going to be co-commentating for Spanish TV :cool: (but it's just wishful thinking) :D:p
