I'm certain Contador will leave this year the team if it's legally possible of course.

Even if the riis thing didn't happen, contador is gonna ride for another team, 2-3 years. Alonso is what i always thought.

That's why he didn't sign more than 1 year extra, at least imo

He looks just as "big" as in those pictures I posted earlier.

I think he's definitely bigger but he's not huge.

I think the biggest difference may be when he's wearing arm and leg warmers. They are deceptive, make his limbs look much more swelled up.

I'm not worried about his form, but I am disappointed about the team. Can't see this as a pleasant season for anyone, especially not AC. I think the way Bjaerne has gone won't sit well with him, and he's got a lot of loyalty to Bjaerne, which will make it uncomfortable. Sure, he'll be professional, but this can't help team morale.

I shouldn't be surprised if he's feeling a little bit duped…like he signs up for one thing, and one of the most important aspects of the deal is suddenly removed from the equation. It would not sit well with me if I signed up for a job and my 'boss' quit or was removed a few days later or something.

I thought Alberto would ride Tirreno, Catalunya and Pais Vasco. Netserk thought he would only ride 1 or 2 of those races so he insisted on doing an avatar bet on whether or not Contador would ride Pais Vasco. Pretty silly as that was after a member confirmed Alberto's schedule was Andalucia, Tirreno and Catalunya and then Il Giro.

It was before that and no one forced you.

No, I agreed with the avatar bet after that confirmation if I am not mistaken indeed, no one forced me, but at the time I did feel obliged to accept the bet. Either way, it does not matter, I doubt anyone will believe I had a sudden change of heart and started loving Tinkov. Alberto will be back for the Giro and in the next few weeks there won't be much to post about for me anyway

Bet was done on the 21st November. The 3rd December was the first time there was a rumour/unofficially confirmed that he would ride Tirreno/Catalunya and not Pais Vasco.

where will he go? Alonso team is nothing but cricket so far. If he leaves TS, he has to start over with the new team. I think it will be wise to stay, because at least he is surrounded by his teammates that he enjoys.With Bjarne is gone, I'm sure Oleg is going to clean the house. I wonder who's going to be the next casualties.

It's not that surprisingly, really. They're all in close quarters a lot of the time. Though the timing is interesting, let's say.

Didn't this reminding you of one team last year? they had the same bad luck through out the season. Hopefully this won't happen to TS. But this bad vibe and restructuring in the middle of the season, is disruptive to the team morale and focus. Today, Sagan wasn't even a factor. Next week will be his second goal. I'm sure the pressure is mounted now.

Don't trust photo. long lens can make you look chubby. And also depends on the angle you take. I'm not worry about how contador looks like. At least he doesn't look like anorexic like Froome.

3rd December was when Alberto or the the team confirmed it. Before that there was a Spanish site which stated what would be his schedule, I distinctly remember it. But I'm sure it all just happened in my mind sheesh, you're like a toddler.

really sad to see Alberto going through team issues over and over again. perhaps is his Karma. there is NO single team that he has ever had complete stability- NONE.

I foresee he will go Il Giro, then fade on Le Tour & then disappear until next season.
