Can you make quick translation please? I dont believe google translate

He didn't expect Riis to leave the team but he trust in Tinkov's judgment and that he does it for the sake of the team.

He expected to be less in the beginning of this season compared to last season cause he started the season easier. He had some issues with 2 crashes in TA and Catalunya but his preparation for the giro went really well and he's at his competition weight. The big 4 all struggled in the beginning of the season he noticed.

And recuperation will be crucial for the tour.

Great interview at:
http://www.tinkoffsaxo.com/news/alberto-contador-happy-team-giro/

"Are you heading into the Giro the way you wanted? Are you in top form or do you still have some road ahead?

I come in a pretty good shape and I’m happy with that. It is true that we must wait and see the race and I’m not at the same level I had at the beginning of the Tour last year but slightly lower. Nevertheless, we have to keep in mind that if I were at the same level it would be difficult to keep in good shape until the Tour. In any case, we must wait for the race to see how I am in comparison to my rivals."

"What do you think of the 60-kilometer time trial? What can happen there?

I went to see it after the Volta a Catalunya, taking advantage of the fact that it isn’t too far from my home in Lugano. It is a flatter course than I thought. The final rolling hills can be done even in time trial position. I would have liked the hills to be tougher, which is where I really can make a difference, but I don’t dislike them either. In this training camp we carried out efforts over an hour simulating that stage and I have confidence in my possibilities."

As well as comments on competition, route and TCS team.

Great article.

We (members of CN) need a guy who will ride a Marcha Contador in order to tell us how AC looks. :D
Is there someone who is going to ride it? ;) :D

Wouldn't that be awesome, like this old granny could keep up LOL!

Meanwhile in the pics in the Saxo article he looks pretty cut.

Edit: the 2nd pic....hopefully it is from the training camp! The others are from races :(

2nd pic is Catalunya I think

He will never win the RR against Movi and he already has the TT. Route du Sud sounds good. Worked fine for Rogers and Roche last year, though Majka skipped it.

Giro team certainly looks strong! It will be interesting to see whether the absence of Riis, and all the fuss on the team, will have an impact on Bertie's Giro performance. What do you guys think?

It will have an impact of course(tactics), but Im sure Alberto is an experienced leader and thats why the team should be all right ;)
