Yes, but the others have better position and he should improve his tt.

In his best years he did very well, even won some prologues, but in recent years he hasn't been as goodVino attacks everyone said:just curious, what is ACs track record on short prologues?
I believe it's 4.2km total.portugal11 said:How many kilometers have the sterrato's sections?
True but do you think the climbs are hard enough for him to take enough time?jens_attacks said:he sucked today but as long as he climbs like in 2009, he should be fine![]()

portugal11 said:He said that in the first part of prologue he was slow because roads had cobbles
Talking about his performance, Alberto said, "I felt in good form. In the first part, the prologue had a lot of cobbles and in that sense, I wanted to make sure I stayed out of trouble, so I took my hands off the extensions as well as in most of the curves. I am happy because when I had to accelerate, my legs were responding well.”

I'm slightly disappointed, was hoping for better. Heck didn't Majka have a better time?
He's still in the running.

I did not see the race, so about what he said ... it's true? It was so complicated the first part?
I didn't see the cobbles but I'm sure he wouldn't make them upMatteo. said:LaFlorecita said:portugal11 said:He said that in the first part of prologue he was slow because roads had cobblesTalking about his performance, Alberto said, "I felt in good form. LaFlorecita said:Actually the ITT suited him pretty well with a short steep ramp halfway through, just look at the average speedand he's won prologues before
I agree it wasn't too bad, but I am wondering if he has lost some power while losing weight.
Hopefully he doesn't lose any time tomorrow, else it's over. I doubt he can take more than 10s on Brouilly, remember that on Malhao he was ahead of the favorites' group when he attacked.
bajbar said:Expected a bit better after actually seeing the course... I would be satsfied with the time around Porte. Being behind Majka is... well, not anything to write home about. But as long as he is good in the mountains, no problem. In the Tour, the TTs are quite late on in the race, which plays into Alberto's hands. He did do a terrible TT as well in 2014 Tirreno, where he was even behind Quintana on a flat course. So no panic yet, but I would be more at ease if he finished inside the top 10.

Uran attacked, Contador followed. Zakarin and Antunes tried to follow, I don't know if others tried too. Then Uran tried to force Contador onto the front and Contador attackedPoursuivant said:What do you mean he was ahead when he attacked? Did they let him go, or couldn't they go with him? The video I seen wasn't great but he looked strong
That was a very different TT though.burning said:bajbar said:Expected a bit better after actually seeing the course... I would be satsfied with the time around Porte. He had no incentive to go all out in that TT as he would have won with a tricycle, we all know what happened in Pais Vasco when he cared about performing.

He almost always delivers in ITTs when it matters most.BlurryVII said:Not too bad, he didn't force it at the start. He feels good and look in shape. And I'm still counting on madone d'utelle
He'll improve his TT throughout the season, I'm sure of that.
