Amstel Gold route change was a 300 IQ play.

Now it's similar to De Ronde except the point to wait for lies like 40km from the finish.

Thing is If fuglsang really wants to win from here he basically has to attack on the cauberg. The later climbs will be too easy to drop Alaphilippe

There's one problem with that. The real Ardennes hills are just too long for that type of racing. You can't recover from attacking all out on one hill multiple times

He probably needs Kwiatkowski to get on. So that when he attacks there at least might be some bluffing, allowing him to get a bit of a gap.
