Sprinters to Bounce on Buninyong - Cycling Central

Renshaw is having a ***** again about the circuit being too tough.

It seems from the Bay Crits, Renshaw musn't be backing his sprinting form at this stage in the season.

He was always going for break aways, and never really right into the main bunch gallop. Well at least not like you would expect him to be. Wonder if he has been training for the nationals and doing some hard miles.

Cantwell could win the US crit champ..now he has the AU title. I hope some team picks him up for a Euro run the guy is very fast

Yes I read that. Isn't Lance in Hawaii training for tdu? He has done that in the past and they might be reffering to him.

It suprised me though, that in a season where he claimed he wanted to take on some of Greipel's responsibilities, he has missed a chance to beat Goss.

Honestly it surprised me too and disappointed me a little bit but he is getting chances later in the season to ride for himself so i'm sure he'll go 100% in those. At bay crits he was holding back a little because in the grand scheme of things bay crits don't matter

Yes but Renshaw needs to prove that he is the fastest australian in a sprint. Where else will he get that opportunity? He has said that a big goal of his is the worlds in Denmark. Goss can stay better over a hilly course than Renshaw and Renshaw's DS, Allan Peiper said that Goss is faster. Why wouldn't he want to prove that to be the contrary?
