Bell Lap. Seems to be a good race but unfortunately SBS can't fork out the extra money from some live coverage.

In both road races today, the peleton never caught the breakaway. Same will happen tommorow. 23oC and overcast with a possible shower in Ballarat.

Renshaw will win. CN forum exclusive

He's got no chance. Cant climb a speed bump to save his life. Also been on record saying that he wont bother riding the Nats if they don't change the course.

Oops my bad! They were only just caught! Still think the break will stay away today. Reason why it came back in the first race was because Jayco Skins are sucha dominant team and other teams their also had a few riders.

If Garmin and Sky have a guy in the break then break will stay away. Last year HTC didn't put a guy in the break but didn't have the riders to chase it back.

I hope he doesn't win, little baby! I have really turned off from the guy since Stage 11 at the tdf. But I have him in my CQ team:eek:

The break will stay away only if there are some good riders in there, from teams you mentioned. And there needs to be 8+ riders for it to have a legitimate shot.

The reason why the break didn't stay away yesterday was because AIS didn't have anyone strong in the break to win, nor did Drapac, and both teams pulled it to suit their riders. If AIS had a bigger rider and Drapac had one in there, it wouldn't have been brought back.

Yes, it depends on which teams put members in the break but it also depends on the makeup of the break in regards to the strong riders.

If Sky have someone up the road and there is someone in the break that is much better than their rider, they will chase it down.

Sky will probably put swift or sutton in the break so rogers and hawman are in the bunch as workers to chase the break down.

Im not sure about swift. Hes there as a leadout guy, so they will probably keep him in the main group for if it comes down to a sprint finish.

My gut would be, Gerrans in the break, and then Swift and Rogers leading out CJ if it comes down to a sprint.

If swift goes in the break it will be with another sky rider.

Doubt CJ will be there at the finish. HTC is really the only other team who will want a sprint. Gossy will be able to go with the moves on the climb imo so that leaves sky. I think it wouldn't be a good idea to have swift used as a leadout man for CJ therefore CJ and or Swift should go in the break
