Fabiani will have to update the lie4lance website and include Hincapie as a fat drunk bitter obsessed rider who at the end of his career has a clothing business and is probably writing a book.

Just now wading in to this puss filled cyst . . . but you took the words right out of my mouth Dr. M!

I can't wait to see how PS, MF and that scum-sucking maggot of an attorney try and paint George as some looser, jealous lier with obviously a book/movie in the works and that he too is trying to cash in on FraudStrong now that he is nearing the end of his days in the Pro Ranks.

What happens when the statements from CVV, KL, JV and possibly DZ get leaked to the press . . . will they all be painted with a similar brush?

Floyd may have been the snowball that started the avalanche; and TH the Molotov cocktail that added fuel to the fire, but clearly Big George's comments today were the torpedo across the bow.

He can cut a deal as long as he'll give up the deal planners in all of this. That can mean USAC, Weisel and influence buying in the UCI. At this point all we're talking about is drugs. The reality is that other elements of financial fraud, tax improprieties related to his foundation, etc are a much bigger deal than him taking drugs. Legally the PED use is a rather two-bit misdemeanor in the grand scheme of things. Once you take the possibility of all the things bearing down on him he's just feeling the burners turn on the pot he's in. I doubt those close to him want to admit just how bad it will be because they are also cutting deals or packing their bags.

Has his foundation been at all implicated? There are definitely tax issues with selling bikes to raise money for drugs and stuff like that. I'm not Lance defender but I haven't heard anything to suggest livestrong is corrupt.

Lance is the big fish here. The "planners" are going to give him up, the trap is set. If USAC or Thom Wiesel were not thinking about it, they are now, they'll give him up in a heart beat. Even if by some chance he wasn't the master mind or in on it, he's the one they are asking about, he's the one the other riders are throwing under the bus, he's the one that called the shots for the team, he's the one that owned part of the team, he's the one that intimidated other riders in a race. I just can't think of anyone bigger he could hand over and he'd need some hard core evidence, documents, recordings, etc.

And he's shown so much contempt for it all, every step of the way, who'd make a deal with him for nobody?

Maybe for a huge chunk of cash, like repaying the whole USPS sponsoring and costs of the investigation...isn't he supposed to be worth $125 million? How he amassed that is beyond me, but that's what I heard/read.

I posted this yesterday on twitter, Should I throw all my armstrong books in the bin, burn them or keep them to show my kids in the future to show them what a cheat is?

Use them to wipe your A$$ when you run out of regular TP!

no.

lemond.

armstrong tried to destroy him.

and lemond was always the greatest american cyclist and tour rider.

welcome back to your deserved spot, mr. lemond.

It was never about that.

i know. i think you misunderstand me.

i know it was never about that for lemond.

however, it pleases me greatly that he stood tall and told the truth when no one else dared. he risked his business, everything, to tell the truth.

even if lemond is too big of a person to feel vindicated, i am not. it is good to see justice. and i also feel good for all the other victims, yes victims of the sociopath.

Are you saying George is lying?

I heard George flushed his GJ Subpoena down the toilet.
Just to spite Novitsky lol.

That was when George was still using the lawyer Armstrong hired for him.

George spilled the beans, Kevin folded like a cheap suit and Lim talked about pictures of refrigerated panniers. The Feds are having no problem getting what they need.

Race Radio said:
The bigger question is not if Armstrong will do jail time but which one of his inner circle will flip?

George and Kevin have already talked. I don't see Stapleton or College saying anything.....but Knaggs? Bart has a family. No way he is going to jail for Wonderboy.

This comment from the CN article caught my attention.

"George Hincapie’s now former lawyer Zia F. Modabber told the Wall Street Journal last year that he had spoken to Novitzky on behalf of his client. At the time he refused to comment on the reports that Hincapie would speak directly with Novitzky after the Tour de France in 2010."

Ages ago RR posted a photo of some guys wearing black shirts with 28 written in yellow on them. Was Modabber in that picture?

Anyone know when Hincapie got a new lawyer?

Edit: just saw the answer above

Way to go, George! Not much to add other than Hincapie's testimony is just so incredibly damaging from every level. No scars on his credibility whatsoever and he was there every step of the way from '99 to '05 beside Lance.

No tweet, but his creepy lawyer said that they didn't comment on GJ testimonies as they weren't there when they were made, or something like that...
