Former pro cyclist, is a cycling presenter, commentator in a australia and won a stage of the giro.

Most of all he's an A-Grade tool!

His Giro stage win was in 2000. Draw your own conclusions.

I wonder if the Australian news channels with re-interview Patrick Jonker to say "I know Nuttink Nuttink" or just reshow the footage from yesterday about the Hamilton claims.

Funny thing. I went to facts4lance.com and entered "Hincapie" into the search field. Here was the result:

Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.

I guess the webmaster hasn't finished creating the "Hincapie is not credible" section.

His mom told him it was time for bed. He needs to finish it in the morning, after he cuts the grass...

Ages ago RR posted a photo of some guys wearing black shirts with 28 written in yellow on them. Was Modabber in that picture?

No. Though you have me curious now. Modabber is a guy. The attorney in the photo was a woman, the other was film producer/executive...Mike...Tomcaik... No, that's not right...

Be curious to see that photo again.

If you're hoping for reforms in cycling, your dream has come true..

On this point you are wrong. We still have a U.S. federation who are the brains behind the myth funneling riders into Pat's peloton. We have an international governing body enabling the doping. It's like two crime families who got along for more than a decade.

Long, long way to go before meaningful reforms.

How many HUNDRED times has George been tested? I rest my case.

Well, what we do know is that in the US between 2001-2010, the USADA tested Big George 38 times while they tested LA only 22 times . . . I rest my case.

We are only hearing about EPO from GH and TH, will they have admitted to all the PEDs they have used or are the Feds only interested in Hemassist?

TH admitted roids I think, or test. Don't know why he would take those....they do no good.

It is enough to make one question Tyler's and FL's version of events since they took those PED's. They obviously didn't know what they were doing. :D

Gracious

I think we need to be fair and reasonable in victory.

Most of us and almost everyone in cycling know Lance Armstrong used PEDs. This debate has been the biggest, most contraversial and devisive in our sport. Many of us find Armstrong's actions and words despicable.

Personally I loathe him for riding roughshod over the sport, bullying and cheating his way to the top and lieing on his way down. I also loathe the way he has duped so many into believing and, in part, used his fight against cancer to do so, notwithstanding his own courage and determination to defeat the disease in his body.

However.....

Let's not sink to the level of insults, gloating and wishing ill on the man and his naive, unquestionning supporters.

We can only move forward as a sport with credibility if we confront and deal with the issues in the recent past. Let the GJ deal with Armstrong. Cycling needs to accept it's faults, change systems and personnel, openly and honestly confront doping in the knowledge that fans and sponsors want clean cycling. And in the knowledge that achievements, no matter how great, are forever tainted and meaningless if they are later found to be the fruit of cheating.

Goodbye Lance Armstrong. May your kind never visit our beautiful sport again.

Perhaps I'm just too cynical, but I really can't understand how some people can be so naive. I guess, in thier situation (those with cancer), it's understandable to find hope in the latest Messiah.

As far as the rest go. Nada. How can you be so f-ing stupid? And for so long? I mean, we're not in middle school anymore.

I think its a matter of many of these people were simply following Armstrong's exploits and not the sport. They aren't/weren't exposed to what the passionate fan see's and knows. So when the proverbial s*&t hits the fan like it did the past couple of days, leaving little if any doubt, the impact is devastating for some.

Armstrong clearly brought many new fans to the sport but they are, by default, first and foremost Armstrong fans. Hard for them to confront the reality but only those with blind faith can now avoid the truth.

Where is the fact that Hincapie has denied talking, being discussed?

He hasn't denied talking.

He has merely denied talking to "60 minutes". Something the reports don't accuse him of.

They said all Lanes previous accusers were "thouroughly dislikeable characters".

Umm Lemond, Andreiu?

But after he does pretty much aknowledge that Lance is a fraud.

Lance paraphrasing Nixon

"Ive lost Harmonn, ive lost the world"

Harmon saying it is the end of the end for Armstrong and he believed what was being reported by 60 Minutes is true.
Cannot see how anybody can believe Armstrong was clean anymore. Maybe Landis could be dismissed, but not now Hamilton and Hincapie. Too many people saying it for it not to be true.
