Big Ups to RR and all of the clinic stalwarts!

I've been getting calls from all over the planet from people amazed at what's happened - they could've just lurked here and been amongst the cognoscenti.

Thanks also and especially to Greg & Kathy & Scott, Frankie & Betsy, Christophe, Filippo, Emma, TexPat, Paul Kimmage, David Walsh, and all the others who risked reputations, careers, money, and everything they had. You all are truly exceptional.
Yes, I've become an expert on the subject simply by reading here the last 2 years...a lot of reading.
And, again the Admins always have a thankless job, and this is one of the tougher gigs, I'm sure, so thanks for keeping this site from imploding.

I had always avoided The Clinic area - until the past few weeks that is - and now realise what I have been missing out on. Its the most popular area of the forum by far lately, though it is off season of course.

Thanks RR for your efforts, and to all the others who contributed in any small way.

As someone said, the battle appears won, but the war aint yet over - sadly.

Thanks for saying this. It's a lot more work than people realize, and hardly anyone seems to notice.

I think many notice, but fewer state it. Thanks Alpe & team. The place seems to have cleaned up as of late, and many excellent new posters also. A credit to you guys.

Some of you old bro's should consider to write this up as a feature article for a newspaper. It could read really well, many anecdotes. And it may inspire others to collaborate more on a virtual basis also.

I'm going to thank thehog before he does it himself.

TFF, Bro, RR, hoggie, Blackcat and his thesaurus, Dr M, and many more. Lots of people persistently putting forth what was once an anti-establishment perspective. So many pros read this forum, hard to think that all those comments about "when the hell is Floyd going to speak out" and "Tyler needs to get it off his chest" didn't play some small role in this.

Yes a big thanks to RR, who I'm not sure I ever actually thanked in the past, but has been a huge source of information...and education (for some of us).

Quotin' PS here cuz I'd like to add my thanks to those he listed as well.

PLUS a thanks to PS for having some of the best sarcastical observations these past three years...:D

Thanks RR....

You have always been a clear voice, & over the years I have learned a lot on this rather unsavory topic, thanks for the leads & in-depth info.

Cheers,
GM.

Or, at the very least, CyclingNews should commend all involved by writing a feature article about the CN's very own Clinic forum community and the long struggle for the truth. At least somebody was asking the hard questions and gathering information, all the years while the pro journalists were in bed with the Disgraced Former Cyclist and his cohorts. It is a great story, not unlike the fall of the Berlin wall.

And, big thanks to RaceRadio.

no

be careful cos this type of hyperbole was what created Armstrong.

This is a very minor achievement in a fight for truth. A little like an inverted Neil Armstrong: One massive leap for the Clinic, one small step for mankind

Thanks RR, really appreciate all the insights and keeping the faith. Early Feb 2012 was depressing, but Oct 2012 has been jubilation and party time ! I used to (and still will) look up your name to find your recent posts to get back up to date with the facts. Thanks also to Hog and others for their contributions. Keep it all going ......

Thanks RR.

I have sent several PM's on here and twitter asking if things were really moving forward. Every time, your assurance that the snowball was only getting bigger as it rolled downhill eased my worry.

There are many thanks to go around as has been noted. This place was chided by "First time poster, long time reader's" many, many times. The Clinic was called a laughing stock. Members of other forums with a much more positive take on Armstrong derided the content here.

This is our forum, and we can do whatever we want with it. We can push it. Study it. Tweak it. Listen to it. Everybody wants to know what we're on. What are we on? We on this forum busting our *** six hours a day. What are you on?

The hog said the fight isn't over because the UCI will challenge. The hog is so lovable because of his prediction follies. I suspect he isn't wrong this time, but here's to hoping that he is, one last time.

Toodles!

congrats RaceRadio, TheHog and a lot of other guys. Congrats to the Polish too... for give oportunity to the big guys show the true in details!

I was too a fan of Lance in 2008.. and then I found this place.. the clinic.. and all changed quickly!

Thank you!

I'll add my voice to this. I've been here since the start as a lurker and joined a few months after. It seems that this forum was ahead of the rest of the media by leaps & bounds thanks to posters like Race Radio. Some others who IMO were also great: Cimmacoppi64, Dr Maserati, Python, Thoughforfood/ChewbaccaD, ElizaB, and anyone I fail to mention.

But I really miss Oldnell, who called us all "excellence hating scum". I wonder where he is now?

In times like these, who we really need is Wonderlance!

nicely done.

clinicians shouldn't be patting themselves on the back too long.

the events of the last few days, should be a launchpad for REAL reform, completely independent 3rd party testing, 3rd party results management, transparency, etc.

if we don't continue to demand these changes the cycle will repeat itself, of that I am sure.

+1.

Thanks RR. But I remember your first posts as Eva Maria. You had me fool there for a while, he-he. Anyway, keep up you good work.
