They will be targetting stages in the Tour, right?

That's what OGE have said, but hard not to see it as managing expectations- neither of them have gone in to a race and dogged it to get room to attack in a long time so it's hard to see why they wouldn't both try to get the best result they can and see where it leads. The first week is perfect for them, lots of punchy little finishes.

I see that as managing expectations as well. It's the Tour de France, and GC is important outside the podium too. The value of showing that you can do well in GC at the Tour at a young age shouldn't be underestimated. Good for career prospects

Gotta say today he impressed me most today since turning pro. That was phenomenal ride, controlled effort.

I really hope he can hang on to the young riders Jersey, 16s clear of Bardet. I've been so impressed with Simon this week and Adam will be back to his best for the Tour.

It will be superb if either can get a stage win next month.

Was sure he'd gone completely at least twice. Bodes really well for the future that he can ride like that on a bad day.

Was it the right decision to stay at Orica for another year? Must have been a bit galling to see Costa and Bardet being paced back up

It was really good. Normally when you get dropped that early in a stage you end up losing 10+ minutes.

He was channeling my golf, which was an absolute car crash on the front 9 but matured in to a round of majestic damage limitation by the end.

Pretty good. Reminds me of Andy Schleck, getting good GC results at a young age. Not as talented of course, but still

Two British riders in jersey's in Paris maybe?

If you want to be 'out there' there's an alternate Universe where they get all 4 without anything too ridiculous happening.

I would imagine that Quintana has the white jersey wrapped up, unless he crashes.

20th in final GC for Adam whilst doing a bit of work for his brother is a very solid come-back from injury, should be good to go next month.

UK has four contenders for three jerseys in Froome (Yellow), Cav (Green) & the Yates twins (white) it ain't that far out there.

Now that would be pretty epic! :D

Great ride from Simon today, it's been another step forward from him plus Adam has made pleasing progress after his injury.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the twins can do during the Tour!

Steady. Andy's the only rider this century to win the yellow jersey and a monument. That's pretty well rounded.
