WTF. surely he had a crash right? right?

Good lord. There's copium & then theres whatever the hell this is https://www.globalcyclingnetwork.co...ith-israel-premier-tech-in-first-race-of-2024

Apparently the TTT don't count for GC. So lets hope for his sake he just took a ten mile TT very casually.
Why a mand Who Will be fightern for GC has to give everythibng in an TTT if doesnt count for GC? I have just whached the TTT and he was working hard the first part, helping the team to be second. He has been working , his team was second yesterday, today win, and he hasnt lost time...so nothing bad to say....Tomorrow is a harder stage. If he lose lot of time people can critizy...but no now

He's won time trials at the tour, he's even won olympic medals in the discipline. He shouldn't be getting dropped in a ten mile time trial let alone finish 5 minutes behind.

The main question regarding Froome's Israhell performances consists in arguing if they point exclusively to the severity of his 2019 injuries combined with age or if, giving such a wide gap between what he was and what he is, if they point to something clinical about his past performances.

Why something clinic if he was better after apply biopasport...today people is going faster than Froome then.

He's been a complete fraud the entire time he's been in the public eye. This is who he is. It's 100% the money, but it's enabled by a total lack of scruples.
You can't rewrite history. This is not who he was, what he accomplished in his career speaks for himself. Nobody taked his victories from him until today due to clinical issues.

He is done physically, so it would be logical for him to retire some time ago, but he had a opportunity to receive millions by sylver adam during 4/5 years.

Based on this, he did what everyone of us would do, accept that contract and the opportunity to have more money in is account until the end of his life/make sure that his kids and family will have the best possible life.

My reply was to the statement that “surely it’s not about the money”. It’s 100% about the money.

And my claim that Froome always has been a liar and a fraud is one I’ll stand by as long as here’s a discussion. He’s been caught in too many lies to count. No revisionism whatsoever.

31st place, 2:18 down.
Without watching the race It is dificult to evaluate, but if he didnt work is a bad result. I think Kretchy is feeling great and of course Blackmore who was six last year here and is better now and It was the leader...but with 5 riders just 2 can go for GC, and the rest has to sacrify...so I am almost sure Froome worked in some way today...I hope he can go for a stage. Now he has more options, despite he didnt lose much time.
Bur this race is just the start of the season. Some kind of teaching young people and quality trianing in altitude.

The director here of the team, spanish like me, Rubén Plaza, told:
https://israelpremiertech.com/black...as-einhorn-honors-the-yellow-jersey-in-style/.
“We were able to arrive at the finish with our strongest two riders in the front group after the hardest stage of the race, so we are close on GC now. We can also play different cards in the coming days – there are riders who have lost time after working for Joe and Moritz, like Chris for example, so we can try and use them to our advantage.”

So, yes, Froome worked, and they want to play with him for strategy issues.

Yes, he has been caught in many lies after the crash and it's been very annoying, but what he accomplished/ what he won until today, still stands, so he is not a fraud. Maybe in your mind he is a fraud, but in terms of the history of the sport, he is one of the best GC riders ever.

You can play more with a micropenis than with Froome.

He's been caught in lies since September of 2011. If you're not aware there are loooooong threads to explore.

Yes. In my mind he's a total fraud.

I don't speak for the sport. Not sure you have that honor either...

Ah, so it's all part of the bigger plan.

Head in sand.
Froome still lives too much and for free in your heads.

For the sport he is not a fraud, certainly the opposite, because he still have 7 Grand tours.

In terms of lies, maybe you're right, but almost everybody lies in this sport.

Standard evasions. Yawn. Your user name is "Froome" but he's living in my head. Makes sense.

Everyone doesn't lie. Everyone doesn't insult our collective intelligence. Most just shut up and ride. No chance I've seen a rider lie this much since Armstrong. But with Armstrong, at least it was in service of a goal. With Froome? Just seems to lie for no reason as readily as when he has a reason. Weirder. Creepier.
