They commented that he was in the big chainring(?) It was like his legs turned to cement in the final few meters.. He was flying until he wasn't.. Like struck by lightning!!that was so strange; it looked like Cian was pouring it on with 500 meters to go, and then all of a sudden Lecerf, who had been caught by a small group re surges and catches him at the line. Did Cian stay on that big gear too long, or was his team not communicating....so baffling. Anyway congrats to Junior, he's becoming a nice little climber
One of the commentators mentioned something like "why did he ride that big gear towards the end"They commented that he was in the big chainring(?) It was like his legs turned to cement in the final few meters.. He was flying until he wasn't.. Like struck by lightning!!
He looked to be turning it over great!! He looked awesome and then.....One of the commentators mentioned something like "why did he ride that big gear towards the end"
I agree...good showing for Cian.He looked to be turning it over great!! He looked awesome and then.....
But all in all, he still rode great, and this has been an excellent month.. Even today his result was decent. Visma has another reason to be optimistic.
I hope there is a race or two before the year ends where he can use his form..I agree...good showing for Cian.
hmmm, good point. Not sure, perhaps one of the Italian racesI hope there is a race or two before the year ends where he can use his form..
He is riding WC normally, and maybe even ECI hope there is a race or two before the year ends where he can use his form..
For me as long as he flips the script and his name is reestablished as a racer and not some problematic drama queen.. He is still young, super talented and fits in the story with Onley, Lipowitz, Del Toro, Ayuso, there is room for him..I think he will ride Slovakia, if it has any mountainous stages this year.
