It feels so insane to me that Evenepoel won this race half a year before covid became a thing. How on earth is he around for so long already.

As Red Rick said it depends what those who have finished the tour have left in legs/recovered this week. Ordinarily they should be favoured over those without the tour in their legs.
Difficult to call a favourite between Wout and Pog as it depends on how it is raced I think. Instinct tells me Pog may make the race too difficult for Wout, but Wout’s form in the Tour was immense.

Covi is out. He had COVID until last week and he's not ready. He'll be back at the Tour du Limousin.
It's unsure WVA is starting, they are making the decision today. Apparently he was feeling tired after the TDF, which I guess is understandable after what he did there for 3 weeks

Weren't they supposed to share an ice-cream after their falling out in last year's World Championships? Maybe Wout doesn't want to put on any weight before he targets yellow in next year's TdF.

These lads have all seen Simon Yates in absolutely cracked form at the 1.1 Spanish races and decided not to embarrass themselves.

its amazing how bad simon has been at san sebastian, considering it should suit him. I know adam won technically but again hasn't been seen really since the win in 2015.
