CMS Doping in sport revelations/discussion

So your argument that Sky were suddenly on something is the team were rubbish apart from the riders who had previously been good. who were still good.

Of course even then you're wrong. Flecha & Thomas had been 10th &11th in De Ronde the week before (not an amazing leap to 9th & 10th). Thomas was second at Dwars, Flecha second at Het Nieuwsblad

In essence you see a team doing OK but not great in the classics (same as almost every year with Sky) as "pretty obvious" evidence of doping . And then you wonder why people think you are some sort of tin foil hatter.
In isolation I'd say you were right, but the timing of this Testogel scenario coincides with EBH reaching a new level of beast mode, Wigans taking another jump in stage racing performance and Froome making a transformation that still beggars belief.

Call me a tinfoil hat wearer all you want but we both know I'm just being a realist. If it was Movistar or Katusha you'd be throwing at least as much shade.

I don't think you're being a realist. If I may be honest I think you're someone who is desperate for attention on social media.

As for Movistar and Katusha - Valverde has form but I've never held that against the others and Katusha have had loads of banned riders, but they seem to have moved on. The question is why isn't there the same clamour about Movistar and Katusha from you. Is it because Irish farms hands whose validation you desperately seek on social media don't tweet about them?

Seriously, just grow up.

PS As for EBH, Paul Kimmage turned up at the 2013 Tour and grilled Brailsford as to why Hagen, who Kimmage had spotted as a great champion, wasn't leading the team.

Tin foil hatters come in all sizes.

TBF If the bloke has mental health problems, would continuing be worth in depreciating his health? I know we all want a conclusion to this, but at the cost of what?

The truth shall set you free

Both true. But maybe an independent doctor has assessed him and taken these into account

Roundup of Tribunal happenings today before resumes next week from Dan Roan.

Freeman’s QC Mary O’Rourke says the defence has “struggled” with a journalist, a “reluctant witness” who “volunteered his help” over an alleged Daily Mail affidavit she claims was signed by ex-coach Shane Sutton & who “now appears to be running scared”, refusing to give evidence

O’Rourke then refers to another journalist - a female - who “has now told us she knows of the affidavit but has never seen it”. “The other one has seen it but is not prepared for his name to be disclosed to us.” Says she is considering witness summonsing them.

“We have no power to take it further” says O’Rourke over a Section 35a submission for the affidavit to be disclosed. Says she’s “disappointed” the GMC have not backed the application for this disclosure. Says the matter could be subject to an appeal point or judicial review.

“We’re not happy with the GMC’s response on the Section 35a” says O’Rourke. “We’re trying to obtain that affidavit by other means..we’ve invited the journalist to participate. He hasn’t sadly come back to us.”

O’Rourke says Dr Freeman is in “robust good health, thank goodness” (the tribunal was adjourned in December last year due to his ill health), and is now working 5 days a week at a GP’s surgery due to the pandemic. Says he will finally take the stand and give evidence on Oct 6th

O’Rourke: Freeman was “shocked” that former Team Sky head of medicine Dr Steve Peters sent information relating to him to the GMC, rather than to the defence. “It caused great distress to Dr Freeman that the GMC was provided with info, including consultations with (his) ex-wife”

Is interesting going back to Wiggins comments in 2018 seems to still be at the core of O'Rourke's defence even more now. He pretty much said Lawton has committed a criminal offence over the affidavit & Jiffybag allegation.

Some other information on proceedings from a medical website:

Freeman will submit himself to a number of medical examinations, both on behalf of his own legal team and the General Medical Council, before matters proceed.

GMC can instruct a forensic psychologist to produce a report on him.

A further preliminary hearing must take place on September 25 ahead of the anticipated resumption on October 6.

GMC ordered that O'Rourke must disclose a redacted copy of the statement by the "journalistic source" they previously referred to and that he must provide a signed witness statement relating to any additional evidence on which he wishes to rely.

Freeman to give evidence. Maybe. Who knows. Hard to imagine who even cares at this sorry stage of a strange saga.
Richard Freeman, the former British Cycling and Team Sky doctor, is finally expected to give evidence on Tuesday in his fitness-to-practice tribunal.

The hearing, which will take place at the MPTS building in Manchester, will begin at 10.15am. Freeman is expected to start giving evidence after some preliminary matters have been heard. The hearing window has been set from October 6 to November 26.

How many of those names are you just making up? I'm so out of the tinfoil loop on Twitter these days I don't know what's real and what's satire any more.

Should we help you?

Anyway, smashed laptop, to go along with the stolen laptop...along with Rupert Murdoch's lawyer hovering around....Fmk be along now to give his usual contrarian viewpoint where he intimates no one knows as much as he does,
