I have to comb through the results list to randomly stumble upon the fact that Chris Froome didn't make it to the line with the peloton today!?! What's up with that, people?

from Team Sky report:

"It was a tough little circuit here in Medellin today. I’m just feeling that I don’t quite have that race pace yet and racing against a whole peloton of Colombians who are at a really good level, I’m really feeling it!
"Egan’s at a really good level so the whole team is behind him. I’m going to do whatever I can over the next two days to help him out, especially with all the big climbs coming up. The full team is behind Egan now and hopefully he’ll be able to pull it off again."

Ominous. He looked to be hanging on for dear life at the end of the TTT as well.

wtf. G is probably in better shape than Froome, at the moment. Didn't see that one coming in a million years.

I didn't see that coming either. Especially since G has said he's not in very good racing shape yet.

I was a little bit surprised as well with Froome result today, but if the team is with Egan I can understand, Froome is not close to his level, but anyway the level here is high.

Not that high. Mihkel Räim out-surviving Froome was not exactly easily foreseeable.

i don't think he is there to win this race, but with the highest Tour de France this year, for me, it's all about altitude and collectiong datas in theses conditions.

from Jungels
It wasn't a stage that I had particularly planned or looked at because it was basically a so-called sprinter stage," Jungels said. "But these things do not exist in Colombia, I think."

:) the last two stages have been great from the fierce racing stand point.

Dont need gaps or kilometres remaning, but total time man, thats the most important thing.
