It was Pantano with Bouet. But I agree that Duarte was the only Colombia rider in the peloton before Pantano was caught. Perhaps he just sat up after he got dropped.Ryo Hazuki said:no that was definitely duarte.

Unzue mentioned many times how "weak" & "unhealthy" was Mauricio when he arrived to Movistar, so as soon he started to rebuild him- he begun to show improvement & his "accidents amount" decreased enormously in comparison to the one while in Barloworld.....
Most importantly -Was Froome "underperforming" too due to Corti's guide? what I'm implying here is A PATTERN set by Corti-every time a talented rider is under his care....

Rujano showing good form in romandie would be finishing the race. Andy schleck was never this bad.Pentacycle said:You're just ignorant, if Rujano shows good form in Romandie maybe we can consider that Nibali vs. Rujano bet from a few months ago again. Although you seem to have multiple bets running already...

The Hitch said:Yes j was, didn't see that.
Still, 2 weeks before your big season aim, I don't think he'll be up there in the giro yet alone finish the race.
One of the many Colombians at the start of the race, alongside riders like Sergio Henao, Rigoberto Uran or Carlos Bentacur, Movistar’s Nairo Quintana isn’t very optimistic on his chances for Liège. “I’m a bit sick. I have allergies and stomach problems. I honestly don’t feel great. But I’m here to help Alejandro (Valverde) for victory. My goal is to help him in the last climbs and make sure we have a small group of riders in the last kilometres. I really like this kind of race, it suits my riding. I hope that one day I can fight for victory”.
Agree with your first 8, but I think they might take Avila to help out Duque in the sprints.pianomagic said:What about the names for the Giro for this very very dissapointing team (until the moment, thanks to Corti and the winter).
In my opinion:
Duarte-Atapuma-Duque-Pantano-Chalapud-Marentes (sure)
Ospina-Carlos Quintero (very likely)
J.P.Suárez (probable)
also options for Romero (not in very good shape, but he is a very talented rider, more than Quintero, Marentes or Ospina), Arango (he is in acceptable shape and doing some great things in Turkey) and Rodríguez (talented rider in not very good shape, as we saw in Trentino)

vuelta colombia i guessRyo Hazuki said:rujano has aid already before volta catalunya that his season goal is the vuelta, not the giro![]()
pianomagic said:Well, finally it seems no Marentes, no Ospina, and the two pistards in: Arango and Ávila. I think one of the pistards could be well, but the two in a very mountainous Giro it's not the best (well, Arango is now an all-rounder and could be also very useful in hilly stages, and Ávila exclusively for the flat stages)
Ryo Hazuki said:no suarez. I think they are very unhappy about him, all other names make more sense
Ryo Hazuki said:after first week I"m positively surprised at level of colombians. especially how they are improving. duarte is not in topshape at all, but yesterday for first time in over a year I saw him in the front all the time like he always rides when he feels good. also he did a very fast ascent of the climb in yesterdays itt. atapuma is in very good shape I think. he rode maybe one of the best itt's in his life. and despite the rain and hills he always hangs in there, chalapud, duque and pantnao are in good shape too as can be expected. looking forward to tuesday adn final week in general.
