He is capable of it. But like I say, I don't know how tough the course is to see if those speeds are possible.

He's not one to feel the pressure. Plus he better get used to it anyway. Once he turns pro probably next year there will be a few time trials he will be favourite in assuming Martin and Cancellara aren't there.

He didn't manage 50kmh in the straight up and back in Delhi last year. Conditions there obviously a bit tougher and he is a year older, but there are enough corners here to slow it down. I'd say 48.5-49, that would make it a minute and a bit quicker than Howson which is probably the distance which should be between them.
