Agh... Roesseler was one of my last cuts. I decided to take Sicard instead, yeesh.

Other brilliant decisions of mine:

- taking Sicard and Koren over the above mentioned rider and Duarte
- taking Modolo over J-C Peraud
- taking Ciolek over Taaramae
- taking retired Vlad Efimkin over Jesse Sergent because 'well, how many points will Sergent get anyway and if Efimkin isn't really stopping riding...'
- taking Ricco over, well, anyone.

edit: and I don't mean I just picked a rider and could have had another rider. I mean, all of those riders were on my short list, and I directly picked one at the expense of the other.

yeah I had langeveld, matthews, Taaramae, Duarte, Bobridge all in my sqaud originally :(

I was going to get Valls and Boom for my team but ended up getting other riders. That's two guys I would of have liked to have. Especially Boom.

Did anyone work out who would've been the best picks last year? Is there a spreadsheet somewhere?

I don't know if it was totally comprehensive but Skibby the bush kangaroo complied a team that would probably have won last year:

To be quite honest I think I'll use the same tactic as last year, get some good bargains and a few high points to fill up my list and other than that just riders I like and hope will do well. And after that just hope and pray to at least break even, just so I can at least show my face still after the competition :p

yes. It probably would have been this year (i'm lying) had I more time ;)
But yeah, last season I went with only riders I liked, at the time I didn't care to much how I went. Next year I want blood.

But no I have a system for next year

Guess who's in my team. Just my luck, I guess.
