Meh, Ponting is having one good innings in a blue moon that the selectors will use to justify his spot in the side. Also, the upcoming NZ tour will help everyone who isn't up to it look good because of how average NZ iscraig1985 said:Nice comeback from Ponting, SA will need some early wickets/
ramjambunath said:Now this is just ****. If it's rained off, it has to be one of those jinxed tours where nothing was meant to go right. Still, the curator's done a magnificent job with the pitch. A half century is a good innings and a century a wonderful knock, something that cannot be said of too many pitches around the world nowadays.
ramjambunath said:Come on, give Ponting some credit. He has played well so far and considering the middle order's propensity to collapse, this may be a very vital innings, not to mention the match situation.

Cummins brilliant, fantastic match. Wow.
Why on earth was this just a two match series? Complete injustice to fans but the teams did their best to make it one hell of an epic series. Best ever 2 match test series (if ever there was a good two match series).
My picks- Cummins MoM and Philander MoS.
