I have to say I do rate Nathan Lyon as a spinner and a pesky number 11, and TBH I think in time he can move up a bit and even come in as nightw-atchman as he has a solid defence and is a million miles ahead of Chris Martin. I like the fact that Lyon isn't afraid to toss the ball up, and it will be interesting to see if he will still do that against the Indians as Sehwag has belted many a world class spinner back over his head for six. The other good thing about him is that he is able to wrap up the tail quickly, which for mine is an under-rated skill, and I also like the fact that Michael Clarke has a lot of confidence in him as a bowler.
After going through Hogg, MacGill, Casson, White (how he ever played Tests is beyond me), Krejza, Hauritz, McGain, Smith, Doherty, and Beer, Australia might finally have a winner.
