Le Mans a big Event? not in Belgium and the Netherlands....

And beside I only watch if I want to get to sleep.

It s even more boring then a flat stage in the TDF( without cobles or echelons).

Eurosport home of cycling? Only when they can get some free broadcasting rights or something.

Contador to attack on the penultimate climb for sure

Daniel Friebe @friebos · 49m
Thévenet says in L'Équipe that, in Contador's shoes, he would attack Froome on Forclaz descent today. Thévenet couldn't descend for toffee.

Makes sense. Froome's likely to be a little bit more nervous than usual after yesterday's crash. Nibali should join him this time!

Does that phrase translate or is it learnt English idiom?

Michal needed a break. I wonder who had the idea to make him come to Dauphine.

Do you know whether it will be geo-restricted or not?

Yep, but I'm afraid Alberto won't stand a chance alone against the Sky train.

Yes, of course. When people speak french or russian or other languages they just translate expressions from english literally. That's basically what other languages are. Someone at some time made up a lot of words and then assigned meaning to them in relation to english words and concepts.

Silly me, I was under the impression some expressions are shared across languages whilst others are unique - luckily you were here to disabuse me the idea that European languages might have some shared roots.

The first key to the stage is how will the sky train perform, especially Richie. I'm sure they will try to prevent any attack before the final climb. There Froome will launch the motorcycle turbo mode with 3Km to go.
