Honestly I will be ecstatic if Contador doesn't win, but I've taken to just assuming he will dominate every race he enters to save myself from disappointment.

You have nothing to worry about. He won't win. And he won't win tomorrow's MTF either.

Geraint Thomas has yet to finish outside the top 10 in this Dauphine. I hope he can put in a good ride today, but it will probably be too long for him.

Malori seems to be pretty strong at the moment, he could be todays "dark horse". When people talk about the young guns like Gretsch and Ovetchkin they seem to forget that Malori has beaten them nearly every time they contended against each other

I think Geraints target will be 18th place or better and hoping that Bole finishes outside the top 20. That would put him back in the points lead (assuming they hand out points on the TT Stage)

I am very very confused by the start times on the official site. They all seem to be half an hour BEHIND cet :?

EbH a minute faster than everyone else at first timecheck.. although to be fair there are about 150 people starting after him. :D

Grabsch won the Dauphine TT last year, exact same length, dunno how similar the course, but good pick to win.

It was about 43km so the extra 5k doesn't bother him. He'll kill it after the climb if he has the legs which he does.

I wonder if EBH can hold it together because he looks to be on a good time. It'll be interesting as it will give and indication of his form.

Would love to see Thomas do well but a top 20 today would be a good result. This length TT and the climb aren't great for him I don't think.

I'm affraid my money is on Contador or Millar today.

This is really crap updating on the official site.

As soon as the rider goes through the first checkpoint, they take him off the depart list. Boasson-Hagen would have finished 10-15 minutes ago probably.

im completely lost.. the start times being half an hour out doesnt help, either that, or they are half an hour behind in updating the live tracker.

its says the last rider to leave was KVIST Thomas whos depart time was 1pm.. its quarter to 2cet, quarter to 1 in uk, so what the hell time did he leave.. im completely baffled

Slovenian time trial champion Janez Brajkovic who is one of the hot favourites of today’s stage wrote on twitter a couple of minutes ago: "Pre rode the TT. It’s windy, with super bad road, descend with a lot of gravel on the road. Very hard"

Can't see Contador taking any risks.

Grabschy just left, but it won't be updated on the site for at least half an hour.

On the prologue, they didn't update Contador's time at the first check till he crossed the line. So expect similar stuff today. Just hope the live streaming comes quick.

Fedrigo left 50 minutes ago but they just updated his time at the first time check just before, which was a time of 24 minutes. Live streaming needs to come up and come up now!

Well it looks like Eddy Bos Ready Boss has got his legs back in good shape, I don't think anyone will beat his time until we get to the GC favourites.
