I think I recall someone saying that it was Slovak, so you're bang on the money if that's true! :)

The gap is coming down pretty fast on this big wide highway, looks like our brave duo will struggle to stay away.

It's Danish.

As an additional information, I can tell you that one of the commentators is the former winner of Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Ronde van Vlaanderen, Rolf Sørensen.

Sorry, I wasn't watching it so I just guessed it was Slovak because someone said it sounded like a Slavic thing and it was Slovak at times during the Giro. :D
