"Second place is not good," said the Great Alberto Contador...well, Thibaut isn't Contador. But he can leave this race happy about his progress. Much better than Occitanie.A very good team of psychologists must now convince Tibo that losing Dauphine is nothing, that he's in very good shape and he's gonna win Le Tour.
If he wins today, pressure is even higher at TdF. Anyway, there still seems to be some sort of mental blockade that prevents him from winnimg a stage race whem everything looks good.Pinot couldn’t wait to leave the podium and clearly sighed too
What about Martin? He showed fantastic post lockdown form and is making a name for himself.
Close enough but not good enough....................Pinot is weird. This mental blockade of his is frightening.
In the Froometto.Anyone know where G and Froome ended up?
Donkeys do better in the heat.

Not sure they finished or reached the time limit. Last one to finish according to the official website was Keukeleire, 4 mins before the time limit.Anyone know where G and Froome ended up?
Very good performance by him. The only thing he lacked for the win is "ez".What about Martin? He showed fantastic post lockdown form and is making a name for himself.
105th and 92th respectively.Anyone know where G and Froome ended up?
If they take G to the tour, they should take Froome on that basis, as there doesn't seem to be much between them. Assuming he wants to go now.105th and 92th respectively.
Yeah, don't think I'm the only one who finds Martinez as Dauphine winner kinda underwhelming. This was a bit like the 2014 Dauphine finale, with Pinot as Contador.
Yeah the whole 2014 situation generally felt a lot more "epic", but it was still very similar, you have to admit that.Contador was way more active. Pinot did nothing. Ok, he attacked once but too late. He also would be an underwhelming winner.
Froome just recovering his legendary 2010 Giro form.In the Froometto.
